Malay song -Terang bulan (bright moon)
Terang bulan is a popular Malay song based on a French melody composed by Pierre-Jean de Béranger which first became popular in the island nation Seychelles. The tune fascinated the exiled Sultan of Perak who eventually made it the Perak. The first Prime Minister of Malaya (later Malaysia used the tune for Malaya's national anthem Negara Ku (our country):

Malaysia's national anthem titled "Negara Ku" (Our country) was based on the tune for the Perak state anthem which in turn was based on the tune for the song Terang Bulan (bright moon)

Judith Hill - Heal the world
Judith Hill from Pasadena whose parents met in a funk band in the 70s, is half Japanese and half black. She did a wonderful job singing "Heal The World" at Michael Jackson's Memorial Service.
